The Campus-Recognized Sorority and Fraternity Transparency Act (AB 524; California Education Code Sections 66310–66312) requires institutions of higher education to incorporate transparency and reporting obligations into the criteria for campus recognition of sororities and fraternities. In compliance with this law, all campus-recognized sororities and fraternities at California State University, Stanislaus are required to submit specified information related to organizational membership and conduct.

Pursuant to AB 524, this information was first required to be submitted by July 1, 2023, and must be submitted annually thereafter as a condition of continued campus recognition.
