Due to a power outage that continues to disrupt the computer network and the climate control system, the Mary Stuart Rogers (MSR) building will be closed on Thursday, July 13 effective immediately. MSR is the only building affected by this outage.
Crews are working to rectify the problem and expect to have the power restored by the end of the day. All MSR employees should report to work at the normal time on Friday, July 14 unless notified otherwise by your supervisor.
Beginning September 1, 2017, Stanislaus State will be a completely tobacco-free, smoke-free and vape-free campus. All tobacco products, including cigarettes, hookahs, chewing tobacco, smokeless tobacco, vape pens and e-cigarettes will not be permitted in or outside any buildings or in parking areas.
These policies will protect the health and safety of Stan State's students, faculty, staff and campus visitors by eliminating second-hand smoke and will ensure equal access for individuals with asthma and smoke allergies.
