Collective coping: Research-based conversations about our wellbeing

Join mental health scholars and students for a 3-day lecture series focusing on breaking the stigma on mental health and creating research-based understanding and connections about our wellbeing. Hosted by the Doctoral Program in Educational leadership, Psychological Counseling Services, and the Warrior Cross Cultural Center.

Join us for a conversation with the founder of El Teatro Campesino, Mr. Luis Valdez, and learn about his involvement with the United Farm Workers and the impact farmworkers have made and continue to make in California. Brought to you by the WCCC, The Norris-Rocaberte Family Foundation, and the Cesar E. Chavez Committee.  This event is also part of the 27th Annual "Si Se Puede" event honoring Central Valley Farmworker Leaders such as Cesar Chavez, Dolores Huerta, and Larry Itliong.

Patssi Valdez will discuss her long-term creative trajectory as an influential and groundbreaking Chicana artist. Foregrounded in the socio-political environment of the 1960s in Los Angeles, including Chicano/a youth activism that she participated in, Valdez will speak about how this context informs her artwork.

Complainants who participate in a Title IX investigation are also entitled to a simultaneous criminal investigation if they so choose. Stanislaus State University Police, as employees, are required to report to Title IX. However, Title IX does not report to law enforcement without written consent from the Complainant.
