QPR is an evidence-informed training that focuses on three steps anyone can learn to help prevent suicide. In this training, people will learn the common warning signs and risk factors of suicidal behavior, protective factors for suicide prevention, how to have a conversation with someone you think may be suicidal and how to get help for someone in crisis.

This training is offered to Stan State students for free. Hosted by Health Education and Promotion (HEP).

As a part of National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week, students can stop by the Stockton Warrior Food Pantry to pick up a Fall Dinner Meal Kit and/or Noontrition meal kit. Students will be asked to provide their Warrior ID number and meal kits will be provided as supplies last. Visit Noontrition for more information.

Great American Smokeout activities provide an opportunity for individuals, college campuses, community groups, businesses, health care providers, and others to encourage people who use tobacco to use the date, to make a plan to quit, or plan in advance and initiate a tobacco quit plan on the day of the event. We can provide quit kits, cessation resources, and other educational material to help promote tobacco cessation on your campus and in surrounding areas.
