This workshop is designed for all students, staff, and faculty wanting to learn about securing UIRB approval to conduct research that involves human subjects. This workshop will guide participants in preparing a UIRB application and will cover the UIRB review/approval process.

UIRB staff will lead the workshop along with an experienced IRB reviewer; they will be available to answer questions about the UIRB process.

The Office of Graduate Studies and Research would like to invite the Grad Faculty Mentor & Director Workshop to learn about important graduate academic policies, admission processes, and other topics related to graduate programs on Thursday, Oct. 12, 2023! The workshop will be held in Library 102 and online from 12 p.m. – 1 p.m. All faculty and staff are welcome, and appetizers and refreshments will be served.

Sometimes life gets us down and it can feel overwhelming or impossible to cope with. There is always HOPE, in this workshop we will discuss ways to increase coping strategies when dealing with difficult feelings. We will be utilizing art to create resources for when life feels like more than you can handle.
