The 9th Annual Ethnic Studies Conference will be held at Stanislaus State on the Turlock campus on March 24, 2026 from 11am-7pm. We will recognize, celebrate, and galvanize the power of community and co-solidarity. The conference will highlight strengths and gifts that abound in Stanislaus and San Joaquin county communities. We will conduct interactive workshops to build on this foundation of community power to activate collective justice and joy.

In many traditions, the spring equinox marks a time of renewal, balance, and new beginnings. We will offer sage smudging for anyone who wishes to cleanse, reflect, and welcome the new season in community.
