Today, Dr. Hamid Shirvani, President of California State University, Stanislaus, is launching a new cable television program called “Dialogue with President Shirvani”. Each episode of the 30-minute taped program will feature a community leader, elected official, faculty member, student, or other friend of the University. The programs will run on the University’s Charter Communications Cable Channel 2.
Ryosuke Motani, a UC Davis expert on the evolution of marine reptiles and other prehistoric dinosaur era creatures, will step in as the featured speaker on Saturday, April 19 as California State University, Stanislaus hosts a gathering of scientists called California Paleontology (or Cal Paleo) for the first time ever.
The California State University, Stanislaus Office of Information Technology (OIT) and Faculty Center for Teaching and Learning will host its 4th Annual Technology Fair on Wednesday, April 16, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Mary Stuart Rogers Educational Services Building lobby. The event is open to the public.
