The Stanislaus State President’s Commission on Diversity and Inclusion (PCDI) is accepting proposals for projects aimed at ensuring inclusivity, equity, diversity and social justice on campus.

Applications for the Campus Climate Grant and the Research, Teaching and/or Professional Development Grant are available online along with requirements for proposals. Awards will be made this spring.

Committees for both grants will review applications as they are received and make awards within two weeks until all funds have been allocated, with the final deadline for submissions set as Wednesday, March 10.

Campus Climate Grants will be awarded in amounts up to $1,000 and will fund the organization and promotion of workshops, clubs, lectures, forums, orientations and other projects, events or activities that foster a campus climate of diversity, inclusivity, equity and social justice.

Research, Teaching and/or Professional Development Grants will be awarded in amounts up to $3,000 to fund innovative research, teaching and/or professional development that advance the principles of equity, diversity, inclusivity and social justice, specifically of historically underrepresented and underserved groups.

Visit the PCDI website for more information about the grants or the commission’s charge.
