Dr. Cotten is an associate professor of Gender Studies. He teaches courses on gender and society, gender theory, masculinity in film, LGBT activism, and transgender studies. His research interests include transgender migrations, men and feminism, intersectional masculinities, and transgender medicine. He is also the founder and managing editor of Transgress Press.
