The following scholarships are sponsored by outside agencies and are not affiliated with Stanislaus State. Please remember that applying for Financial Aid and Scholarships is FREE and you do not have to pay anyone for a scholarship or scholarship information. Also, the Financial Aid and Scholarship office does not process or request scholarship information over the phone. If you have any questions about scholarship information or application, please contact the Financial Aid Office. Please contact the agencies directly with any questions regarding application materials and the award selection process for the scholarships listed.

District 5220 Rotary International Scholarship

Qualified candidates for its District Scholar program for students planning to do graduate work during the 2021-2022 school year at the Master’s, Doctorate, or Post-Doctorate degree level. 
 
District 5220 covers the area from Madera in the South, to Galt in the North, from Tracy in the West, to Yosemite in the East. The District Scholar application process is open to current college seniors and graduate students who meet one of the following three criteria: 
 
• Students attending a university within District 5220
• Students whose permanent address is within District 5220 but attending a university outside District 5220 (including internationally)
• Students from another country sponsored by a club in District 5220 but attending a university within District 5220. More information

Live Bearded Scholarship

Must be enrolled in a College or University at the time of the next deadline (see dates below).
For applicants under the age of 18, you must have permission from a parent or a legal guardian.

Our $2,500 scholarship can be used for any education-related expense, including: tuition, textbooks, course material, and any other education-related expense that you may come across.

You must be able to provide proof of your identity if you are chosen as the winner.  Qualified ID is a student id or driver’s license.

Mesothelioma Cancer Alliance Scholarship Must be enrolled full-time at an accredited two-year or four-year university, community college or junior college, or a graduate degree program. This scholarship is offered nationwide to United States citizens. Students must be in academic “Good Standing” and have a minimum Grade Point Average of 3.0 or higher to be eligible.   March 31st and December 1st
Contra Costa Association of Realtors Scholarship Foundation

Candidates may either be undergraduate or graduate students. All applicants must strictly comply with the application process and fully meet all of the following requirements:             
*Be Full-time resident of Contra Costa County     
*Have already completed ONE YEAR of full-time college study; i.e., cannot be incoming freshmen
*Be currently enrolled full-time in college
*Have completed courses of study that reflects an emphasis on real estate, finance, business, accounting, marketing, communications, and/or economics

Demonstrated involvement in the advancement of health equity by impacting an obstacle created by a social determinant of health. The social determinants of health are the non-medical factors that influence health outcomes. They include education, housing, income, access to healthy food, physical environment, healthcare access, racism, and other forms of discrimination, among other community and social factors.
There are a large variety of ways to make an impact, such as organizing a local garden to help families who would otherwise not have easy access to nutritious food and having a passion for expanding this work. 
This definition is intentionally broad to encourage applicants to creatively demonstrate the connection between their work and health equity in the essay portion of the application.

Way Scholarship

Only graduating seniors in high school, freshmen, sophomores, undergraduates in college between the ages of 16 and 25 are eligible to win.
We reserve the right to verify any information provided. If you do not comply with our requests for information within the deadlines provided, you will be automatically disqualified.
Your participation in our scholarship constitutes your consent for us to use your essay and personal information for the purpose of offering the scholarship and reporting to tax authorities where required.
There is no cost to apply for this scholarship. We will not request any monies from you. We will review all submissions but will only contact the winner.
It is our sole discretion in choosing who to award the scholarship and the winner may not be announced in public. If there are less than 10 applicants to the scholarship in any semi-annual period, we may elect not to award the scholarship.
The terms of this scholarship may be changed by us without any due notice.

Business Plan Scholarship for Students with Disabilities

Any student enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at any accredited American College, University or Trade School with a documented disability may apply for the scholarship. The scholarship is open to students with any type of disability, including but not limited to physical disabilities, medical conditions, mental and psychiatric conditions, speech and language, learning disabilities, behavioral conditions, and all other disabling conditions.

Recordsfinder Scholarship

You must be a high school graduate pursuing a full-time college or university placement or already enrolled in college full time*.            
*You must be enrolled in an accredited college, university or vocational/trade school that is approved by the U.S. Department of Education and allowed to participate in financial aid programs.                                                          
You must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher. Grants are not renewable; you must apply each year and start fresh with a new application.
To be eligible in future years, you must demonstrate your academic progress through advancement. If you do not meet these specific requirements, you will need to provide college transcripts (unofficial) and a statement of explanation as to any limitations or reasons.

Any legal U.S. resident at least eighteen (18) years old who is currently attending high school and will be attending an accredited university or college in the next academic year, or a student currently attending an accredited university or college (undergraduate and graduate students are both eligible).

Dura-Pack Scholarship $3000 - Applicants must be currently enrolled in either high school, university or
college as a full-time student (2019-2020 school year).
Employees and relatives of Dura-Pack are ineligible.
There will be three contest submission dates. To be eligible for the 2020 Dura-
Pack Academic Scholarship, submit your essay by one of the submission
dates Essays should be submitted in MS Word format.
Essays should contain a minimum of 500 words.
