The following scholarships are sponsored by outside agencies and are not affiliated with Stanislaus State. Please remember that applying for Financial Aid and Scholarships is FREE and you do not have to pay anyone for a scholarship or scholarship information. Also, the Financial Aid and Scholarship office does not process or request scholarship information over the phone. If you have any questions about scholarship information or application, please contact the Financial Aid Office. Please contact the agencies directly with any questions regarding application materials and the award selection process for the scholarships listed.

STEM Scholarships For Women | PayScale.com 1. The annual scholarship award is for one (1) student enrolled in an associate, bachelor's or graduate level program in a science, technology, engineering or math related major. The applicant must have accepted an offer of admission or be attending classes at an accredited college or university before the award is granted.                                              
2. Employees of PayScale and members of their immediate family (spouse, parent, child, sibling and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and persons living in the same household, whether or not related, of such employees, are not eligible to apply.

Dr. Arthur A. Kezian Science Scholarship The Dr. Arthur A. Kezian DDS Science Scholarship will be awarding $1,200 to help deserving science students. 2017 Bi-Annual College Scholarship

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reports that close to half of professional carpenters and plumbers have suffered some degree of hearing loss from repeated loud banging and drilling.  Companies who employ workers in such high-risk environments are required to provide adequate protective gear for employees who are regularly exposed to loud noises. However, many times the protective gear is worn, damaged, or defective and does not sufficiently protect from hearing loss. What do you think companies can do in order to better protect workers from hearing loss? What degree do you believe employees should go to in order to protect themselves from hearing loss?

However, many times the protective gear is worn, damaged, or defective and does not sufficiently protect from hearing loss.
