From Deserts to Gardens, From Missing and Murdered Black and Indigenous People to Communal Wellness, From Drought to Water Preservation. Indigenous Peoples from all over the world have embedded ancient instructions on how to live in communion with the earth’s continuous changes. Protecting and expanding life in the biodiverse ancestral knowledge systems sees humans as a critical piece of the ecological puzzle of communal wellness. In the face of white settler violence, displacement, and colonialism, we must heal the soil, the waters, our history as a nation, and our collective psyche. Native knowledge is a part of the earth’s ecological systems. Revitalizing these knowledges heals intergenerational traumas to augment life on holistic and regional scales.

By participating in this event, you agree to adhere to the Stan State Campus Event Protocols.
