Drupal CMS
Drupal is a web content management system (CMS) for the University website, which is a web-based system.
Training is required prior to receiving access to ensure proficiency in managing web content.
Request Website Edits
Use the form below to request an update to existing web content or to have a new webpage created. Additionally, this form can be used to discuss proposals for changes to website layouts. Our web team will review and follow up as needed.
Tips when creating requests:
- Provide extensive detail about what's happening in the request
- Provide all necessary links and any relevant URLs
- Include any dates and timelines
- Attach any project files as attachments during upload (PDF, DocX, PNG, JPEG)
New User Access
Only authorized Stanislaus State employees, including student employees, may receive editing access.
- Authorization must come from the department director or chair
- Please note the OIT Security Request Form is only accessible on campus or through a VPN
To request access to edit a department website, all new users must complete the OIT Security Request Form.

- Student employees must use their student email address (not a generic account)

What happens next?
- After your security form is approved, you will be eligible to attend an upcoming training
- Access to edit is granted only after completing training
- Attending only part of a training will not satisfy the training requirement
Before you can begin editing:
- Send an email to webupdate@csustan.edu to schedule your required website training session once the OIT Security Request is approved
- Website trainings are held twice a month

Requesting Access to Other Departments
If you already have access to one department’s site and now need access to an additional department:
- Please send an email to webupdate@csustan.edu
- Include authorization from the approving department director or chair
- Include the name(s) of the new department(s) that you need access
- Let us know if you should be removed from previous department site(s)
