The COMM Club is the departmental organization for undergraduate students interested in Communication Studies. You do not need to be a major or minor to join! Learn more about opportunities in Communication Studies, and the community, while also getting a chance to meet other members and make new friendships that can last a lifetime.

KCSS 91.9FM the “Valley’s True Alternative” and the “Voice of Stan State” is managed by student employees, students enrolled in COMM 3112 and community volunteers. KCSS operates facilities that include production labs for podcasting and radio broadcasts.

Speech Capture and Analysis (SCA) offer students an opportunity to develop and refine their presentational speaking skills. Peer Communication Consultants provide students with a supportive space in which prerecorded or live speeches are evaluated in a one-on-one consultation. This service is open to all university members; no need to be enrolled in a current COMM course to participate.
