General Accessibility (Thursdays)
For Faculty: These trainings will teach basic digital accessibility skills/understandings and aid instructors in starting strong with their instructional design. Topics include the WCAG standards, POUR principles and understanding the new Title II requirements, technical skills such as using accessibility tools in MS Word and PowerPoint and core skills like writing/applying Alt text, heading structure and creating descriptive links.
Canvas Remediation with UDOIT (Fridays)
For Faculty, Student Employees or Admins/Staff: These one-and-a-half-hour (1.5 hrs) sessions will use our two CO-provided tools — TidyUp and UDOIT — to remediate content in Canvas.
