Jack Souza is a 25+ year veteran college educator teaching course in English Composition and Reading, Shakespeare, Humanities, Communication, Theater Stagecraft, Acting, and Theater History.

As Prospect Theater Project’s Founding Artistic Director, he has directed, designed or appeared in virtually all of PTP’s 100+ productions over the past 20 years. Souza’s extensive regional theater credits include Sierra Repertory Theater, Stage 3, Shakespeare on the Vine, Murphy’s Creek Theater, Modesto Performing Arts, and Phoenix Creative Collective. Souza appeared as Titus in Titus Andronicus at the Arc Light Theater in New York City and as a guest artist in productions of Three Sisters and an adaptation of Mourning Becomes Electra at Columbia University. Among his most memorable roles are Henry II in The Lion in Winter, Atticus Finch in To Kill a Mockingbird, Henry Higgins in Pygmalion, Frank Hardy in Faith Healer, Willy Loman in Death of a Salesman, Beethoven in 33 Variations, Hecule Poirot in Murder on the Orient Express, and Shelly Levine in Glengarry Glen Ross. In addition to New York, Souza has appeared as an actor in Seattle, Dublin and in the Bay Area. Having training with the American Conservatory Theater and Berkeley Repertory Theater, he also holds a M.A. degree in Modern Drama with Honors from University College Dublin, Ireland.
