Hello! My name is Ashley Cabral and I am currently a 4th semester Nursing student here at Stan State. I am also currently completing my minor in Psychology. I graduated from Johansen High School in Modesto and went straight to a 4-year university. I initially wanted to be a physician, but I absolutely love the bedside and the therapeutic relationship I build with my patients as a nurse is irreplaceable to me. I'm not sure about what specialty I want to work in yet, but I currently have my eye on postpartum and ICU. I hope to continue my education to become a nurse practitioner (not sure what specialty yet!) and come back to Stan State as an instructor. Aside from being a nursing student, I love to crochet, play video games, and spend time with my loved ones.
