Responsibilities
- Provide counsel and recommendations to the science in our community program regarding the implementation and long-term sustainability efforts of the program, such as changes in personnel.
- Provide guidance and participate in faculty development activities for science in our community. Ensure programs meet current Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) for K-12.
- Review current sources and seek new sources of funding for the Science in Our Community program. (currently, the program is funded through IRA grant, support from the COEKSW, and the Office of Service Learning.)
