Title IV-E faculty member since 2000. Engaged in field orientations and training for both students and field instructors.

Co-Developer of Tools for Well-Being and Catalysts Redefining Resilient Communities & Leadership Excellence (CR2CLE) via Wellness Options, LLC.

Yvonne has been involved in several research studies in partnership with Merced County Human Services Agency and MSW students to understand the effects and perceived benefits of mindfulness-based interventions across various groups, i.e., employees, leadership, and clients. As a result of this work, she has been able to present her research findings at County Welfare Directors Association (CWDA) conferences in 2018, 2019 & 2020, as well as to California Social Work Education Center (CalSWEC) Institute for Field in 2019.

Future endeavors
Organizational Culture and Well-Being, continued research in understanding effects of Tools for Well-Being & CR2CLE, mindfulness-based interventions for use with social worker well-being
