Stanislaus State has earned a spot on The Princeton Review’s list of “Best 389 Colleges” for 2024, which was published on The Princeton Review’s website Tuesday, Aug. 15.

This is the 18th consecutive year the University has been included on the Review’s national list of best colleges, which is not ranked but includes only the best 389 schools listed in alphabetical order.

Thomas Cullyford Watling, an esteemed educator and beloved member of the community, passed away peacefully at his home in Turlock after battling Merkel-cell carcinoma.

He grew up in Webster Groves, Missouri, and graduated from high school in 1943. After serving as a B-29 flight engineer in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II, he pursued higher education at Drury College, earning a bachelor’s degree in sociology in 1949.

You are invited to join our Well-Being Ambassador, “Fall into Creativity” painting workshop coming this Fall semester! This wellness workshop is an outlet for those who enjoy self-expression through art and relieving stress through creativity. This is a perfect opportunity to connect with peers and build community on campus. We hope to see you on November 18!

Please join us in our Well-Being Journaling Workshop. In this workshop, you will be guided through journaling on an array of prompts, in a relaxing setting. Journaling helps us reconnect with ourselves and rediscover who we are. It also helps us process emotions, both good and bad. We look forward to seeing you on October 27th!
