The University Fine Art Collection contains a wide variety of art objects, most of them donated to the University Art Gallery/Art Department to form a study collection for the benefit of students. The collection ranges from sculptural objects created in various cultures including Egypt, China, Japan, Persia, Africa, and Precolumbian Middle America. A particularly important aspect of the collection is a large group of prints from the Tamarind workshops that features innovative prints of historical interest.
