The Art and Engineering Camp at Stanislaus State is an exciting, hands-on program designed to inspire creativity, curiosity, and critical thinking in elementary-aged children. This unique camp blends the imaginative world of art with the problem-solving skills of engineering, allowing kids to explore both disciplines through engaging, age-appropriate activities.

Based on the grounded theoretical framework of a Culture of CARE (Compassion, Awareness, Respect, & Empathy), this training builds off of other trainings and looks at incorporating culturally relevant pedagogical and organizational practices. Staff, students, faculty, administrators and allies are invited to do a deep dive into supporting students and faculty with strategies that promote an inclusive curriculum and learning environment.

STAIRWAY TO RESILIENCE is a 6 to 8-week group therapy program designed to support students in building a foundation of emotional strength and resilience. This group provides a safe and supportive space to explore challenges such as managing difficult emotions and fostering a sense of connection with yourself and others.

We discuss the Fulbright Scholarship opportunities for US students to travel abroad for research/study, arts, and teaching English in 2026-27. Fulbright has opportunities in 140 countries across the globe. In this information session, students will learn about Fulbright opportunities and how to prepare an application, and also meet the Stan State Fulbright advisors and how to get assistance with your application. Applications are due October 7, 2025.
