Student Leadership (SLEB) invites you to join Black Voices' showcase of Moonlight. This film will be followed by a discussion and a conversation on HIV and AIDS awareness.

Join us at Stan State for our 7th annual Black Power Matters event, celebrating the centennial of Malcolm X's birth. This event will honor Malcolm X’s enduring legacy and his impact on movements for revolution, resistance, and liberation. We will highlight student perspectives on Malcolm X's significance to their generation and their visions for the future. Featuring a keynote address by Dr. Ula Taylor (UC Berkeley), this gathering will explore how Malcolm X’s revolutionary ethos continues to inspire today.

Students are encouraged to attend a workshop hosted by Basic Needs to learn tips and strategies to engage in healthy living and decision-making when it comes to the foods we eat and how we take care of our physical well-being. Each workshop will be followed by a activity facilitated by Campus Recreation including: badminton, circuit training, and volleyball.
