The UndocuAlly Training will provide recommendations for Stanislaus State staff, faculty members, and academic advisors to practice allyship through knowledge, awareness, reflection, and action. Our training is designed in collaboration with the Admission and Enrollment Services, Financial Aid & Scholarship office, Immigration Legal Services, and Undocumented Students. The training workshop will cover the components below:

Writing can be utilized in many ways beyond the paper for English class. Some examples of writing for personal growth that will be discussed are journaling, interpersonal communication, and web presence. Additional workshops and the link to register can be found at the link below.

Please join us for a presentation by Dr. Mary Roaf, associate professor of ethnic studies. Dr. Roaf will share experiences from her summer 2023 Fulbright activities in South Africa. A reception will follow from 3-4 p.m.

The Chopped Challenge event is a partnership between Chartwells and Basic Needs. Chartwells will provide the cooking materials necessary to make this event possible. Basic Needs will provide packaged food items from the Warrior Food Pantry. The purpose of this event is to show students different meals they can make with the access to food items in the pantry. This event will be taking place during National Homelessness Awareness Week on 11/15, 

Chartwells will provide:

-4 induction burners/Electric single stove top

-Knives

-spoons

Are you interested in learning about different cultures? Do you enjoy meeting new people? If so, come and join us to learn more about the vast variety of cultures here at Stan State! We will be hosting an event in the library room 102 from 2-4 PM for international and domestic staff and students to exchange cultural information and experiences. We encourage you to bring a cultural item such as art, clothing, music, etc to share a piece of your culture with everyone!
