The Stan State Art Space is excited to invite you to the reception for the Stan State Alumni Art Exhibition on Thursday, March 27, 2025 from 6:00--8:00 p.m., at our downtown gallery located at 226 N. First Street in downtown Turlock. An artist talk will begin at 6:30 p.m. This exhibition includes artwork from the Stan State Art Department from 1960-2024 and offers a wide variety of media and technique. Admission is free of cost and free on-street parking is available.

The Sí Se Puede Planning Committee at Stan State is excited to host the 30th Annual ¡Sí Se Puede! Celebration, honoring the lives of Central San Joaquin farmworker leaders Dolores Huerta, César E. Chávez, and Larry Itliong. Each year, this celebration highlights the values instilled by Dolores, Cesar, and Larry and helps educate our Stan State students of the impact they made and continue to make in our communities.

The Recovery Ally Training is a program designed to educate and empower students, faculty, staff, and community members to support individuals in recovery from substance use disorders. Through a comprehensive 2-hour session, participants gain a deeper understanding of addiction, learn strategies to reduce stigma, and develop skills to create recovery-friendly environments on campus. The training includes interactive components such as case studies, role-playing exercises, and a Q&A session, ensuring practical application of knowledge.

Join us for Pen and Peace, a relaxing and creative workshop designed to help you de-stress through the power of writing. We will explore different forms of expressive writing from journaling and free writing to poetry, that will help you unwind, clear your mind, and gain a sense of calm.
