The Student Research Council supports research, scholarship, and creative activity by providing financial assistance to conduct research (e.g. copy costs, instrument purchases), to attend scholarly functions related to student research endeavors, and peer review of manuscripts.
 
If you are a math or science major or degree-holder, you can connect with up to $30,000 in scholarship funds to prepare to teach math or science. Talk about a once in a lifetime opportunity!

There is currently a high demand for math and science teachers in California and throughout the nation. CSU Stanislaus is addressing this need and is committed to providing teacher candidates the necessary tools for entering the workplace as highly-qualified math and science teachers.
California State University, Stanislaus students will have the opportunity to put their academic studies on display at the 25th Annual Student Research Competition on Friday, March 11, 2011. The afternoon competition will be held in the John Rogers Faculty Development Center at CSU Stanislaus.
