Warrior Discounter

From food and shopping to services and fun across Turlock, Modesto, Stockton, Manteca, and Ceres- discover new favorites, support local spots, and make the most of student life while keeping more money in your pocket.

Emerging Leaders Scholarship
The Emerging Leaders Scholarships support students who demonstrate outstanding leadership and a commitment to making a positive impact at Stanislaus State, their high school or community college, or within their local community.
Scholarship Awards
A total of 20 scholarships ($1,000 each) will be awarded for the 2026–2027 academic year:
- 10 Scholarships - Current Stanislaus State Students
Recognizing leadership and involvement among currently enrolled Stanislaus State students. - 5 Scholarships - Incoming First-Year Students
Supporting high school students who have participated in ASB, GATE, leadership programs, or other leadership opportunities and intend to enroll at Stanislaus State. - 5 Scholarships - Incoming Transfer Students
Recognizing leadership and involvement among students transferring to Stanislaus State from a community college or other institution.
2026-2027 Application Timeline
Specific application dates will be announced at a later date.
Application Opens: November 2026
Application Deadline: March 2027
Current Students
- Must be currently enrolled at California State University, Stanislaus.
- Must demonstrate a financial need through the completion of a FAFSA or CADAA
- Minimum 2.5 cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) and in good academic standing
- Not eligible if an incoming or current ASI staff or member.
- Scholarship recipients attending only the fall semester will receive the full award in fall.
- Open to all majors, class levels (undergraduate/graduate) part-time, and full-time students.
- Must demonstrate leadership experience and be an active contributor to the Stanislaus State community.
Incoming High School Students
- Must be a high school senior intending to enroll at CSU Stanislaus the following semester.
- Must demonstrate a financial need through the completion of a FAFSA or CADAA
- Minimum 2.5 cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) and in good academic standing.
- Not eligible if an incoming or current ASI staff or member.
- Scholarship recipients attending only the fall semester will receive the full award in fall.
- Must demonstrate leadership experience and a commitment to contributing to the Stanislaus State community.
Transfer Students
- Must be currently enrolled as a transfer student or planning to enroll the following semester at CSU Stanislaus.
- Must demonstrate a financial need through the completion of a FAFSA or CADAA
- Minimum 2.5 cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) and in previous institution and good academic standing.
- Not eligible if an incoming or current ASI member.
- Scholarship recipients attending only the fall semester will receive the full award in fall.
- Open to all majors, class levels (undergraduate/graduate) part-time, and full-time students.
Application Process
Students wishing to apply for the ASI Giving Back Scholarship must apply via the STARS online application.

After Applying
If you provide a complete application by the deadline, you will automatically be considered for the scholarship. Your application will then be made available to the scholarship committee for review. If you are awarded the scholarship, you will receive a notification from the Financial Aid & Scholarship Office.

Turlock Transit
#WarriorsRide - Connecting Stan State to the Community
Free Fares for Stan State Students, Faculty, Staff, and Administrators
The City of Turlock is now waiving fares on Turlock Transit's fixed route buses for all Stan State students, faculty, staff, and administrators! Present your Warrior ID to the bus driver upon boarding. Visit Turlock Transit to view their fixed-route buses.

You can check out real time bus predictions on the following platforms:
- Turlock Transit website to view live location of the bus routes
- Get the Transit Mobile App
- It is FREE to download the app.
- Provides step-by-step navigation to find nearest bus stops.
- Can plan trips ahead to attend campus events/activities, classes, do homework at the Library, eat, etc.
- Will be able to locate other form of transit services near you such as Merced Transit, Lyft, and Uber.
Taking Amtrak?
Use the Turlock Transit Amtrak Shuttle!
This service provides same-day transportation to and from locations in Denair or Turlock and the Turlock-Denair Amtrak Station. Departing passengers can call (209) 668-5600 at least 1 hour before train arrival for $2.50 per person per trip. Fares can be paid with cash, coin, or credit card using the Transit App. A bus will be waiting for all inbound trains.

Amtrak Discount
Students can save 15% on everyday travel with Amtrak
Amtrak San Joaquins provides Stanislaus State students with a convenient and affordable connection to the statewide train and Thruway Bus network. On the San Joaquins, students can save time and money, catch up on homework using the onboard Wi-Fi or relax by kicking back on the comfortable, spacious seating.
Connection Information
The train and Thruway Bus arrive at the Turlock-Denair Amtrak Station. Students can utilize the Amtrak Shuttle operated by Turlock Transit, which provides on-demand service to and from the station to anywhere in town for only $2.50.
ASI Student Organization Grants
The ASI Board of Directors serves as the official voice of the students. This group is comprised of 14 elected student representatives, a faculty director, and the Dean of Students. They provide oversight of ASI programs and services, in addition to advocating for students. They seek to provide the ultimate college experience and uphold the mission and vision of ASI, as well as encourage shared governance, student advocacy, and collaboration with other campus and community entities.
Bring your organization's idea to life with support from ASI!
The ASI Student Organization Grants provide Recognized Student Organizations (RSOs) the opportunity to receive funding for events, activities, and programs that bring students together, increase engagement, and enhance campus life.
- Receive up to $2,000 in funding for eligible events, activities, and programs.
- Up to 15 Recognized Student Organizations may receive grant funding each year.
- Funding is intended to support on-campus events and activities that are open to all students, the campus community, and/or the broader community.
- Grants can help RSOs expand their impact, enhance existing programs, and create new experiences for the Stan State community
Application Open: September 14, 2026
Application Deadline: October 23, 2026
ASI issues a call for grant applications once each year. RSOs interested in receiving funding must submit the Student Organization Grant Funding Request Form by the application deadline to be considered.

ASI Student Organization Marketing Credits
ASI Student Organization Marketing Credits - up to $250
The Marketing Credit Policy provides recognized student organizations with up to $250* in credits per year. Credits may be used for in-house printing, lamination, A-frame rentals, and graphic design services.
