Stan State Jazz Festival Spring 2023

The Stanislaus State Jazz Festival aims to provide students and directors with a positive educational and musical experience in Jazz. Maximum interaction between students, directors, and guest clinicians will occur throughout the day, highlighted by various master classes from guest artists and clinicians, as well as a performance by the Stanislaus State Jazz Ensemble with a special guest artist.

6 p.m. Bruce Forman and his groundbreaking group "Cow Bop"

As part of our 2023 Jazz Festival, we present guest artists Cow Bop! Mix swingin’ grooves, thrilling riffs, sweet and hot vocals, western sensibilities and tons of fun and you have only begun to describe Cow Bop. Formed in 2003 by internationally-acclaimed guitarist Bruce Forman, the cowboy jazz and western bebop band has toured extensively worldwide, exciting audiences with their unique brand of music.
