Lace up your sneakers! Join us for the Homecoming 5K Fun Run filled with good vibes, fun goodies, and a pancake breakfast! Open to students, staff & faculty, alumni, and the community. Celebrate Homecoming the Warrior Way!

Registration Details
The Homecoming 5K Fun Run is open to the community, drawing together students, staff, faculty, alumni, and local residents in a shared celebration of our university community. The race will take place through our beautiful campus, nestled in the great City of Turlock.
5K Race details will be sent to registrants a week before race day.
Deadline to register is Sunday, January 11th, 2026

Please Note: Entry fees are nonrefundable and nontransferable.
Packet Pick-Up Information
Participants may pick up their bib and t-shirt at the ASI & SC Front Desk, located on the first floor of the University Student Center, next to the Bookstore.
ASI & SC Front Desk - 1st Floor of University Student Center
Dates: Monday, February 9th, 2026 - Friday, February 20th, 2026
Times: 9am-4pm
5K Registrants may pick up their packet in advance at the ASI & SC Front Desk beginning Monday, February 9th through Friday, February 20th.
If participants are unable to pick up their packet during this timeframe, they may pick up their packet on race day beginning at 7:30am in the Quad.
Recommend parking in the free 30 minute parking spaces in any surrounding parking lots as parking permits are enforced at all times on the Stanislaus State Campus.
- Bring a photo ID.
- All participants must complete the online waiver prior to receiving their packet.
Race Day Experience
Please arrive early. Participants who are unable to pick up their packet in advance, may stop by the Information Booth prior to the race start time to pick up their packet.
Tip: We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes to 1 hour prior to the 9am start time.
- This event is open for participants 18 years or older.
- Animals are not allowed at the race, with the exception of Service Animals.
- No strollers allowed.

Join Campus Recreation in student trainer led stretches!
Drop by the Fix it Station for additional pins and assistance in applying your bib and getting fun run ready!
Join us back in the Quad for a delicious post-fun run Pancake Breakfast that will fuel you back up for the rest of your day ahead!
Spectators
Cheer on your 5k runners!
Spectators are welcome around the route to bring the energy, celebrate our runners, and show off your warrior spirit.
Whether your holding signs or cheering out loud, your presence makes the run unforgettable!
Spectators may also join Campus Recreation in the Quad for a game of volleyball, archery tag, and other lawn games before, during or after the run!
Recommended items to bring:
Pom Poms, posters, and all of the energy!

Parking
Parking is free on race day!
We recommend parking in Lot 2 or Lot 11 for easier access to event location in the Quad.

The Homecoming 5K Fun Run is open and available to participants of all abilities. To request an accomodation please call 209.667.6833 at least 72 hours in advance.
