Josh received his theatre education in Canada, and has over 20 years of experience across Alberta, New York, Connecticut, and California’s Central Valley as a Technical Director, Scenic Designer, Scenic Carpenter, Painter, Props Designer/Builder, and more.

As a freelance Set Designer, he is a regular contributor at Gallo Center Repertory Company in Modesto, CA, and Sierra Repertory Theatre in Sonora/Columbia, CA. In addition, he has previously designed at Seven Angels Theatre (CT), Playhouse Merced (CA), California State University Stanislaus, UC Merced, Kraken Theatre Company (CA), YES Company (CA), Ignition Theatre (AB, Canada) as well as numerous productions at Shadowland Stages (NY), where he also served as Technical Director from 2016-2019.
