Washington D.C.-based think tank Third Way ranked the University No. 6 in the nation on its Economic Mobility Index while Stan State also reemerged on Forbes’ Top Colleges list, demonstrating how higher education can create pathways to financial stability for low-income students and their families.

Sustainability Month Kick-off and Alternative Transportation Fair

Join Stan State Sustainability as we kick-off Sustainability Month with an Alternative Transportation Fair during Warrior Wednesday. Visit our alternative transportation partners to learn how to travel using other modes of transportation besides fossil fuel-burning cars – local transit systems, rail systems, and tools to find a lower impact way to get around Turlock and the Central Valley.

Anyone Can Whistle is a fanciful story about a small, economically depressed American town whose corrupt mayoress arranges a fake miracle to attract tourists. The tourists arrive but quickly become intermixed with the inmates of the local “Cookie Jar,” a rest home for nonconformists.

Students are eligible to participate in the Comprehensive Exam during the term they are scheduled to complete their Core Courses.  Typically, the Comp Exam is taken in a student’s last semester of the program when they are enrolled in MGT 5900, the capstone course.
