The 70th anniversary of the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights offers an opportunity to reflect not only on the significance of this landmark document within its own timeframe, but also on its added meaning for our own time, with mounting human rights challenges in evidence within our borders and across the globe.

After a yearlong absence, Stanislaus State is bringing Art Space back to Downtown Turlock.

The original Art Space was open for three years along Main Street until reaching the end of its lease in 2017. Starting in October, visitors once again will be able to walk through art exhibits before or after shopping or grabbing a bite to eat in Downtown Turlock.

Stanislaus State’s Housing and Residential Life no longer will host its annual Halloween Gala. While our campus has enjoyed providing this community event, it has grown to the extent that it no longer is feasible for Stan State’s Housing and Residential Life to provide the resources necessary for the event to remain successful.
