Turlock Mayor Amy Bublak, a Stan State alumna and member of the Warrior Athletics Hall of Fame, invites the campus community to attend her 2020 State of the City Address, which will be held Thursday, Feb. 20 at 10 a.m. in Snider Recital Hall.
This is an opportunity for students, faculty and staff to witness firsthand an important process of civic government, as well as a chance to hear about the plans Mayor Bublak has for the city that will impact the campus community.
The University is saddened to hear of the January 11 passing of Calvin Edward Bright, whose dedication to students and education was reflected by the generous gifts his family foundation bestowed on Stanislaus State and other colleges in the region.
“Calvin Bright and the Bright Family Foundation have been generous friends of Stanislaus State for many, many years,” said Stan State President Ellen Junn. “The family’s continuing impact on the lives of college students throughout the Central Valley is both immeasurable and greatly appreciated.”
