High school seniors and others seeking admission to California State University, Stanislaus for the fall 2007 semester are encouraged to take advantage of the priority application filing period that extends through November 30. They can make that happen at the University’s annual Preview Day on Saturday, October 21.
All regularly eligible students applying during the initial filing period will be guaranteed admission to the University for the upcoming fall 2007 semester.
Prospective students and their families are invited to attend the Preview Day activities from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the CSU Stanislaus campus in Turlock, 801 W. Monte Vista Ave. The program introduces students and their families to the University in an open house format featuring tours, presentations by academic department faculty, and a variety of informational programs.
Preview Day check-in begins at 8:30 a.m. in the Mary Stuart Rogers Educational Services Gateway Building. On-site admissions and electronic application sessions will be conducted for fall 2007. Students who plan to participate in the on-site admissions must bring SAT or ACT test scores, the $55 application fee in cash, check or money order form, and an unofficial copy of their transcripts.
Campus tours that include the University’s Residential Life housing complex and workshops for various programs such as the application and transfer process, admissions for military veterans, financial aid, graduate studies, and the Educational Opportunity Program are on the schedule. Faculty from a number of University departments will make presentations and be available to answer questions from 9:30 to 11 a.m. in the Main Dining Hall.
