Six Stan State students travelled to Chicago in early October for a three-day career development and networking symposium that was part of the 33rd annual Hispanic Association for Colleges and Universities Conference.

The students attended panel presentations, workshops, luncheons, a town hall meeting and met with conference exhibitors and recruiters. The national conference, which this year operated under the theme “Hispanic Higher Education Success: Advancing Access and Opportunity in a Changing Environment,” focused on the best and the most promising practices in the education of Hispanics.
