This year, the council welcomed student representatives to the group, Erik Jimenez and Michael Angel, who are serving one-year appointments.

“The inclusion of student representatives strengthens the council’s ability to bridge connections between current students and alumni,” Davis said. “Student representatives serve as advocates for their peers, ensuring their voices are represented in decisions regarding services, programs and events.”
“By gaining insights into students’ experiences and perspectives, the Alumni Association can foster meaningful collaboration that enhances program quality, supports student success and deepens engagement. This partnership not only benefits students and alumni but also cultivates a shared sense of pride and belonging within the campus community.”
The council plays a key role in strengthening the bonds on campus at the Stan State, throughout the region and beyond.
“Through their work, we are creating a culture of meaningful engagement and collaboration that will benefit our University for years to come,” Davis said.
