Ladi Asgill, agricultural economist and certified crop advisor with Sustainable Conservation, a highly respected environmental organization with a reputation for working collaboratively with the California agriculture industry and government regulators to develop solutions to environmental challenges, will speak on campus April 13 from 6:30 – 9 p.m. in the Faculty Development Center. Asgill is responsible for promoting farming practices like conservation tillage and nutrient budgeting, and introducing innovative technologies like manure injection on dairy farms. His talk, titled, “What if protecting the environment could also be good for business?” will be hosted by CSU Stanislaus Agricultural Studies Department. 664-6648.
