The California State University, Stanislaus Mathematics Department is now accepting applications for its highly popular High School Math Access Program (HiMAP), a tutoring academy in mathematics and science for students in grades 6-12.
The Wednesday after-school program, which meets from 4:30 to 6 p.m., begins February 18 and continues through May 27. The fee is $50 a semester per student and $10 for a HiMAP T-shirt for new participants. Students are coached in mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, general science, and computers.
