Dr Robert Rogers

Current research focuses on three areas: 1) the timing of slab breakoff along Middle American Trench and the geomorphic and sedimentologic responses to the breakoff in Central America; 2) structural and stratigraphic development of neotectonic transtensional rift valleys along the divergent strike-slip margin of northern Central America; and 3) the Mesozoic history of the southern North America Cordillera recorded in the sedimentology and stratigraphy of Central America.
