Ukraine Mayors on Energy & the War

Every year, Modesto Sister Cities International hosts a civic delegation from Ukraine as part of the Open World program managed by the Congressional Office of International Leadership, COIL. This year we are hosting five mayors from Ukraine who will speak to the strategic challenges of building out sustainable energy sources and critical infrastructure while fighting off Russia's brutal invasion of Ukraine. The mayors will talk about the current circumstances in Ukraine with a special focus on the impact of the war on civilian populations and the public institutions that sustain them. There will be time for questions.
