The extent of the work of Post-Mexican experimental composer, sonic architect, performance artist, and visual media artist Guillermo Galindo redefines the conventional limits between musical composition, fine art, and the intersections between art disciplines, politics, humanitarian issues, spirituality, and social awareness.

The University Art Gallery is proud to announce the fine art exhibition by San Franciso artist Guillermo Galindo: Sonic Mediations showing Oct. 17-Dec. 20, 2022 at the University Art Gallery located in the Theatre building on campus at One University Circle in Turlock, California. Galindo's exhibition is part of the University-wide Social Justice Conference.

Hours of the gallery are Monday through Friday, noon-5 p.m., with a late close Thursday evenings at 9 p.m. Parking is available in Lot 2, just south of the Theatre building and east of Theatre Drive. Admission is free, and the gallery is open to the public.

A reception for the exhibition will take place at 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, with an Artist Talk at 6:30 pm. The reception is free and open to the public.

By participating in this event, you agree to adhere to the Stan State Campus Event Protocols.
