A cartoon man in nineteenth-century clothing

A small cast of actors will present a reading of Professor of English Dr. Arnold Schmidt's adaptation of The Flying Dutchman, based on an early nineteenth-century melodrama. In its day, this popular play drew large audiences, entertaining with romance and comedy, action and supernatural elements. Our performance will feature music, sound effects, and costumes. The hour-long performance will be followed by an audience talk-back/discussion and Q&A with the cast. Free popcorn and refreshments will be provided. This event is a collaboration between the University Library and the English Department.

By participating in this event, you agree to adhere to the Stan State Campus Event Protocols.
