The Faculty Development Center announces the fine art exhibition The Delight of Hidden Spaces by Jessica Gomula-Kruzic, Co-Director of Creative Media and Professor of Video & Time-Based Media in the Art Department here at Stan State.

In these works, the physical body serves as a way to examine the shifting dialog of people, of culture, within the built and natural environment. In some of the works, the entire environment is natural. Many places are settings of contained nature, but others are completely man-made environments, with no natural presence remaining. What happens when we disrupt the boundary between domestic and wild?

This photographic exhibition is showing from Oct. 28 to Dec. 8, 2022; with a reception Thursday, Dec. 8 at 6 p.m., and an Artist Talk at 6:30 p.m.

The Faculty Development Center hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Friday and is located just west of Lot 8, and south of Warrior Lake, just off of Melones Drive.

This exhibition is free and open to students, staff, and faculty.
