Join us for an event hosted by the Undocumented Student Services, History Department, and Phi Alpha Theta as we welcome César Cuauhtémoc García Hernández, author of "In Defense of the Criminal Alien" and "Migration to Prison: America's Obsession with Locking up Immigrants".

About the Author: César Cuauhtémoc García Hernández holds the Gregory Williams Chair in Civil Rights and Civil Liberties. A nationally recognized legal expert, he writes and teaches about the intersection of criminal and immigration law. Professor García Hernández has published opinion articles, he also has served two terms as a member of the American Bar Association’s Commission on Immigration.
