astronomy night roof telescope

Science in Our Community presents Astronomy Night with a speaker, Dr. Morsony of the Department of Physics.

View the heavenly bodies that will be out this evening and ask questions of an astronomical nature. Reservations to visit the telescopes on the roof patio are required. Punctuality is important for the roof telescope activity, please arrive on time. There will be telescopes available in the BioAg area for heavenly viewing. There will also be activities for young astronomers.

Activities will include making your own planet coloring styrofoam balls, diffraction gradient viewing, videos, and what did Hubble see on your birthday. There will also be videos of current images taken by the Webb and Hubble space telescopes.

Refreshments will be available to purchase.
