Join us at the 28th Annual Si Se Puede Celebration honoring the lives of farmworkers and Central Valley Activist, Cesar E. Chavez, Dolores Huerta, and Larry Itliong.
The program includes a keynote speaker, poster display, and Ballet Folklorico entertainment. Co-hosted by the Cesar E. Chavez Committee, The Chicanx Latinx Faculty & Staff Association and the Warrior Cross Cultural Center.

About the Keynote Speaker
Dr. Álvaro Huerta is this year's keynote speaker and Diversity Speaker for the 28th Annual Si Se Puede Celebration honoring the lives of Central Valley Farmworker activist, Dolores Huerta, Cesar Chavez, and Larry Itliong. His talk "Honoring the Lives that Feed Us" will highlight essential workers' impact on our society. Dr. Huerta is a Religion and Public Life Organizing Fellow at the Harvard Divinity School and Associate Professor in Urban & Region Planning and Ethnic & Women’s Studies at Cal Poly Pomona. He’s the author of the forthcoming book, Jardineros/Gardeners: Cultivating Los Angeles’ Green Landscapes with Brown Hands, Migrant Networks and Technology (The MIT Press). He’s also the author of an award-winning book, Defending Latina/o Immigrant Communities: The Xenophobic Era of Trump and Beyond.
