The Warrior Athletics Golf Tournament, to benefit athletic scholarships at CSU Stanislaus, will be held this year on Sept. 27 at Stevinson Ranch Golf Course, recently ranked the No. 1 public golf course in California in the Golf World Reader’s Choice Awards.
“This is one of the most important fundraising events of the year,” said CSU Stanislaus Athletic Director Milt Richards. “These scholarships allow the university to provide top-notch student athletes the opportunity to compete and earn a college education.”
This year’s tournament will be a four-person scramble format, with registration beginning at 11 a.m. at the course, located in the town of Stevinson at 2700 Van Clief Road. Super Saver cards will be available, goodie bags will go to each player, and there will be prizes and a silent auction. The event will wrap up with a recognition dinner in the clubhouse for players and sponsors.
