U.S. News & World Report, which has included Stanislaus State on its annual honor rolls for more than two decades, has ranked the University’s online MBA program at No. 119 in the nation, an improvement of 45 spots from last year’s list.

Stan State is one of only three California public universities to make the list of 285 online programs, as selected by the publication. CSU San Bernardino came in at No. 101 and CSU Dominguez Hills was ranked No. 162.

“I want to recognize the vision of then-Dean Linda Nowak, and the faculty members who created the program and developed it over the years (including Al Petrosky, David Lindsay, Marjorie Chan and Ed Hernandez) as well as those like Saejoon Kim who are injecting fresh thinking into the program,” said Tomas Gomez-Arias, dean of the College of Business Administration.  “The exceptional faculty members in our online MBA are laser-focused on the success of our students and engage with them at a very personal and individual level.”

Last fall, U.S. News & World Report recognized Stan State as one of the West’s top public colleges for the 23rd consecutive year and placed the University in the region’s top 10 for the first time. The publication also placed Stan State on its list of the nation’s top 350 undergraduate business programs, public or private.

“It is encouraging to see how our commitment to our students is increasingly recognized by experts, employers and the academic community, as well as in rankings like this,” said Gomez-Arias.
