Terry Barnhart
California State University, Stanislaus' Extended Education department has announced the appointment of Terry Barnhart as Program Developer. Barnhart will be responsible for marketing and developing the University's extended education programs for Stanislaus County.

Most recently, Barnhart was the President of his own company, providing service as an executive leadership coach for individuals and businesses. He has consulted with Ocadian Health Systems, The Permanente Medical Group, Covenant Health Care, and numerous physicians. His coaching clients include physicians, nurses, physical therapy centers, chambers of commerce, jewelers, advertising companies, Business Network International, and many others.

Barnhart is a frequent speaker in California's Central Valley, and was recently a keynote speaker and break-out session presenter for the California Medical Group Management Association as well as a break-out speaker at the 2005 International Conference of the Community Leadership Association in Atlanta. He is a Director of Business Network International (BNI) and has started eight BNI chapters in the Central Valley.

Barnart holds a Master's Degree in Mass Communication from Drake University and a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism from the University of Houston. He earned post-graduate certificates from the M.W. Kellogg Graduate School of Business, Northwestern University, The First Interstate School of Service Marketing at Arizona State University, and Southern Methodist University. Barnhart earned prestigious accreditation status from The Public Relations Society of America in 1982.

Barnhart and his wife, Cindy, have been married 35 years and have two children. His son is serving in Iraq as a Blackhawk helicopter crew chief and his daughter works for Kaiser Healthcare in San Diego as an Echo Cardiovascular Technician.
