Stan State’s mission of propelling the region forward through affordable education continues to be noticed on a national level, as Forbes magazine has placed the University at No. 109 on its list of America’s Best Value Colleges.

The ranking represents a two-year upward movement of 177 spots for Stan State in the annual report that weighs the cost of attendance against the benefits of earning a degree. Forbes grades four-year colleges in the areas of net price, net debt, alumni earnings, timely graduation, school quality and access for low-income students, and ranks the top 300 for this report, now in its fourth year. The report in general praises the CSU system for its high value, placing 17 of the 23 CSU universities in its top 300.

Previously released Forbes rankings also praise the University’s quality and value. The publication ranks Stan State No. 109 among the nation’s top public universities, No. 431 overall quality and No. 83 among all colleges in the West Region.
