Her Objective is to Make Every Student Feel Supported, Engaged and Encouraged to Achieve Their Goals
May 13, 2021

Heather Dunn Carlton joined the Stanislaus State community when she officially became the associate vice president for student affairs and dean of students on April 12, 2021. Carlton spent the previous 14 years as the associate dean of students at the University of the Pacific, which she believes will help her as she takes on her new role at Stan State. Carlton’s duties will include overseeing student support services, such as the Basic Needs program, Housing and Residential Life, the Warrior Cross Cultural Center, wellness services, campus recreation, student organizations and more.

Carlton is eager to help make sure that every student at Stan State feels supported, engaged and encouraged to achieve their goals, and she is excited to continue to meet with more members of the campus community as she embraces her role as a Warrior.
