Marketing teams from Stan State’s Office of Extended and International Education and the Office of Communications and Public Affairs (CPA) were honored in Higher Education Marketing Report’s 35th Annual Educational Advertising Awards (EduADAWARDS) competition.
Extended and International Education earned seven awards, two of them gold, the highest honor, and CPA earned three awards, one gold.
Extended and International Education’s marketing team was recognized with gold awards for its MBA magazine advertisement and for its child development video.
The department took silver for its Online MBA ACE Train Advertisement and earned a bronze medal for a social media MBA advertisement.
They also earned merit recognition for their EMBA New Year-New Resolution ad, online RN-BSN program Health Magazine ad and MBA Information Session poster.
CPA earned gold for its Warriors Assemble internal communications campaign for the University’s WASC reaffirmation of accreditation effort. It earned merit recognition for its One University-Two Locations advertisement and for its Fall 2019 edition of STAN Mag.
“It is always an honor to be recognized for one’s work, but what is especially gratifying about these honors is they reward projects that were collaborative, involving the talents and hard work of everyone in our department and working closely with others across campus,” said Rosalee Rush, senior associate vice president for communications, marketing and media relations.
Higher Education Marketing Report has been the nation’s leading marketing publication for higher education marketing professionals, for thirty-five years; read by thousands of higher education marketing professionals.
The report began its national competition in 1985 to recognize the field of educational marketing and advertising.
This year’s competition attracted more than 2,350 entries from more than 1,000 colleges, universities and secondary schools from all fifty states and several foreign countries.
Gold awards were granted to 294 institutions, silver awards were awarded to 201 institutions and bronze awards were awarded to 157 institutions.
Judges for the Educational Advertising Awards consisted of a national panel of higher education marketers, advertising creative directors, marketing and advertising professionals and the editorial board of Higher Education Marketing Report.
